Yesterday my redundancy notice was rescinded and I was confirmed in post and my boss was singing my praises. Today I holiday for a week in Whitby :), things are definitely looking up!

Yes, you are just as water, flowing around all that comes in your way
All Whitby accommodation hassle happily resolved. Feeling cheerier/better handle on depression in the last week and looking forward to a whole week away from home for the first time since 2004 :). Oh and my tactic to out-nice my boss into lovely polite compliance has so totally worked :) It's a great and empowering thing to decide to change how you react emotionally. YAYNESS!

Portishead-new single Machine Gun
Portishead's new video for comeback single 'Machine Gun' has appeared online.
The clip for the new track went live on portishead.co.uk at 8pm (GMT) today (March 18).
The song, taken from the band's new album 'Third', can also be downloaded from the site. The single is released physically on April 14.
'Third' is released on April 28. "
